I have a Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology. In 2014, I won the "Three Minute Thesis Competition" (a competition wherein researchers present their postgraduate research to a non-specialist/technical audience in just three minutes) at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak campus and went on to represent my university at the mother campus in Melbourne, Australia. I taught English in a school setting for five years from 1999 to 2003 and I have been teaching English language skills on a freelance basis for over 20 years. In addition to English, I taught computer science courses to undergraduate students at the university and other institutions and working professionals alike, on a freelance basis. Furthermore, I have a wealth of experience working as a computer technician and network administrator. I believe that communication shouldn't be limited to humans alone, we can extend it to machines as well. Each time I get a computer fixed, I feel like I had effective communication with it. I am motivated by my love for teaching and communication. English is the basic language in business. I believe that possessing English language skills is an asset in the world of today which is becoming a global village. I want to be the reason why somebody in the north can interact with and do business with somebody in the south, east, and west. That is what makes teaching pleasurable. My hobbies include watching taught-provoking movies, listening to music, traveling, and entrepreneurship. I like adventure as well. I am excited to be your teacher. Go ahead and book a session with me so that together, we can get better at communicating in English, and we can make this world a global village.
