Loulou

My name is Loulou. I'm a Mass Communications graduate and I've been teaching English online for several years now. I used to be a senior high school teacher in a private institution, where I teach subjects like Practical Research, Introduction to Philosophy and 21st Century Literature. During my first years as an ESL tutor, I've been assigned to conduct special training courses for students taking the KET, PET, and FCE tests. I've also helped kids to enjoy reading story books by creating fun presentations and engaging after-reading discussions. As I spend more years working in the ESL industry, I’ve come to gain experience in teaching adults. Not only do we discuss grammar rules and sentence constructions, but also, we have interesting and insightful conversations in English.
Besides teaching, I also enjoy cooking for my family and playing with my cats. To broaden my perspective on the diverse culture of students, I’m keen on watching foreign films and series. I’ve always believed that learning never stops, so I also make time to read good books and attend online courses that can help me become a better person and a more credible teacher.
